Helen’s passion for helping, sharing, and empowering people is in her DNA. Her professional career intersected with people on multiple levels so starting an initiative designed to impact women with or have been diagnosed with breast cancer simply makes sense. After being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in April 2021, having a lumpectomy, four rounds of chemotherapy and 20 rounds of radiation, she felt compelled to create platforms, including a book and this initiative, that will allow her to share her story of hope.
Helen is an experienced Professional Life Insurance Agent. Former Adjunct Professor having taught classes aimed at career-oriented adult students that concentrated in English, Contemporary Literature, Professional and Leadership Development, and Keyboarding. Experienced human resources, business development, customer service, and marketing professional as a 30-year small business chief executive officer.
Helen has a Master of Arts in English from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH – May 2017. BA in Journalism from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA. - December 1981. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) 2013 Certified 2015

Helen’s professional career spans over 40 years. Presently she is Vice-President of The Adams Group Agency, LLC where she has been partnered with Senior Life Insurance Company since 2014. Her $2 million dollar agency has over 400 agent partners in 18 states.
She taught at Virginia College of Augusta as an Adjunct Instructor for four years. Prior to that Helen was CEO of The HBA Group, Intl, a marketing, public relations, and events planning, for over twenty years

Before accepting this position with the award-winning non-profit organization, she spent seven amazing years raising her young children at home. In between visits to the playground and local libraries, she worked from home for Google and as a Ghostwriter for an educational consulting firm. She has 20 years of experience working with children and families in a number of different roles. Danielle earned a Master of Science degree in Professional School Counseling from Mercer University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. She lives in Atlanta with her handsome and devoted husband, Dr. Wardell C. Hunter III and their three sons. She enjoys sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with anyone who will listen, reading, watching her sons play baseball, and spending time with her family.
