 Healing ~Options ~Purpose ~ Empower 

The importance of having a mammogram can not be overstated enough. It saved my life. As a result of that, I am extremely passionate about advocating for women to start getting their annual mammogram at the medical community’s recommendation of age 40. EVERY YEAR, IT'S IMPORTANT!

H represents Healing, which must take place mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It’s a journey and much information will be shared on this website to help you in that regard. 

O represents Options because we all have them. You have the option to NOT get a mammogram because you fear the results, believe it hurts too bad, or feel that you’re healthy and everything is fine. You also have the option to follow the oncology medical community’s recommendation to start getting mammograms early.  

P represents Purpose. God has given each of us a purpose in life. Your customized and specialized purpose was designed just for YOU. It may change or evolve over the years based on your life’s experiences, but we all have a purpose. I am confident one of my purposes is to empower, enlighten, and give women hope that all will be well, even in every step of the process relative to  having breast cancer.

E represents Empower. My experience with TNBC was horrifying. Everything my doctors and nurses said would happen because of the chemotherapy and radiation, happened almost like clockwork. I did everything my doctors said to do – like clockwork. After my diagnosis, I was determined that I would remain positive, even through the pain and so much more, and live in such a way that each day would be a better day. It was empowering to take control of what I could control throughout the entire journey. You will hear from many empowered women on this site. Just stay tuned. 

I must admit that I’m very excited about this initiative. When one thinks of the word – HOPE – one must think of God. God is HOPE. It is our HOPE that lives will be changed after spending time with us and this initiative – H.O.P.E.
